Why Train with New Leaf Health

“This course was great! it covered such a range of sensitive subjects amazingly, giving me the skills and knowledge to now feel comfortable to go and apply this in my role as a mental health first aider.”

MHFA Course Delegate

“As an anxiety sufferer, I felt today’s course was very eye-opening, informative and reassuring. I have taken away knowledge to highlight “triggers” I personally struggle with and turn them into coping techniques.”

Managing Anxiety Course Delegate

“This course made me consider the process an event can have that can lead to stress, and techniques on how to reduce that stress. This reflection also helped me step back and see that I do have my own techniques that I would use but just didnt know I was! “

More Information on MHFA Aware Training

The MHFA Aware course is designed to give attendees a basic working knowledge of mental health, whereas the MHFA Champions course is intended to train Champions – ideal for championing mental health at work.

This course is designed as entry-level. Anyone can attend, and there are no specific obligations created by becoming MHFA Aware. This is an ideal awareness course for the whole workforce.

This course is available for a minimum of 8 and a maximum of 25 delegates. These limits are the same whether the course is delivered online or face-to-face.

The idea behind these limits is so that there are enough people on a course to keep the content engaging and promote discussion, without having too many people where learning can be diminished.

These limits are set by MHFA England.

Yes – everyone who completes the course will be certified as MHFA Aware by MHFA England.

The MHFA Aware course is a single 4-hour session, usually delivered over a morning or an afternoon. This is an ideal approach for teams that don’t have time to commit to a full-day course.
