Workplace Massage Service
Our over-the-clothes workplace massage service gives your employees a chance to relax, recharge, and de-stress, all from the convenience of your workplace.
On-Site Massage Service for Staff
A workplace massage service is a fantastic way to help colleagues reduce the physical symptoms of stress. It can also help promote relaxation and provide employees a much-needed energy boost.
These massages are carried out over-the-clothes, and are pressure point-style massages, focusing on the whole of the back, neck and shoulders, arms, hands and head.
Sessions are carried out with the receiver sitting in a specially designed chair, meaning there is almost no disruption to their daily work routine.

“Our Workplace Massage Service is one of our most popular on-site events. One of the main reasons for this is how enjoyable and engaging the service is – it’s very rare that employees would turn down the opportunity for a massage. But from a physical and mental health perspective, too, there are science-backed benefits that help to support recovery, MSK issues, inflammation, stress and cortisol levels, and much more. Office massage goes well beyond just a workplace perk.”

How does a Workplace Massage Service Work?
Our experienced and professional massage therapist attends your workplace with everything needed – you just need to provide a quiet, private space for the appointments to take place.
The day can be run as drop-in sessions, where attendees just turn up for an appointment, or you can run them by booking only, to ensure everyone who wants an appointment can get one.
Benefits of Workplace Massage to Employees
Who doesn’t love a massage? But if your employees need convincing, workplace massage is also an excellent way to help your staff:
- Reduce stress – leaving them feeling relaxed and refreshed.
- Relax muscles – easing stiffness and soreness, especially for desk workers and manual workers.
- Boost morale – it’s something to look forward to and enjoy during the working week.
If you’re still not convinced your staff would love a workplace massage day, why not perform an employee wellbeing survey and ask them directly?
Benefits of a Corporate Massage Service to Businesses
Workplace massage days are an excellent and easy way to introduce wellbeing initiatives to your workplace. Aside from being an incredibly popular activity, this service can also help to:
- Improve productivity – staff feel more energised and motivated after a massage.
- Boost mood – a workplace massage can help to reduce staff stress, which can help in tackling issues like burnout.
- Improve company culture – who wouldn’t love to work for a business offering employee massages?

The Science Behind Office and Chair Massage
Physical Health
Massage therapy has been shown to slow the heart rate, reduce blood pressure, and increase blood flow through muscles. This means that, in addition to benefiting your cardiovascular health, a workplace massage can also help to improve muscle growth and repair, and to reduce inflammation.
Mental Health
A massage in the workplace also helps reduce stress and anxiety by reducing the circulation of cortisol (the stress hormone) in the body by an average of 30%, according to one frequently-cited study. The same study also found an increase in serotonin and dopamine (the ‘happy hormones’) in participants by around 30%.

Brought our Community Together
“We were delighted to partner with New Leaf Health for our Wellness Day at Canopi. The 15-minute massages, health checks and mindfulness sessions were a real treat for our charity customers – a way to recognise the work of people who spend their days providing service to others. The day brought our community together by creating space for wellbeing, connection and giving back. New Leaf Health delivered a thoughtful experience that made a real difference.”

More Information about Workplace Massage
Do Staff Need to Remove Clothing for a Massage?
No! All of our massages are over-the-clothes sessions, meaning your employees will simply turn up and sit in the special massage chair. How easy is that?
How Much Space does a Corporate Massage Day Need?
Our massage therapists bring a specialised massage chair with them to make sure your employees are comfortable during their session. This takes up more space than a normal chair, but it’s not huge.
A small room with enough space for the massage therapists to be able to move fully around the chair should be more than enough.
How Many Staff Can Take Part in a Workplace Massage Day?
Our massage therapists can see up to 22 employees during the day. We run 15-minute appointments between 10:00 – 16:30, allowing plenty of breaks for our massage therapists’ hands!
Do Staff Book or Just Drop-In?
We can take either approach. Your employees can use our free online booking system to reserve their workplace massage appointment, or people can just turn up on the day. We can also do a mix of both, if that works well for your business.
Are Your Massage Therapists Trained and Qualified?
Yes, all of our massage therapists are fully qualified and insured. Additionally, our therapists are also very experienced in delivering massage sessions specifically in workplace.
Are There Any Health Conditions That Stop Someone Having a Massage?
Yes, there may be some health conditions that would prevent a staff member having a massage appointment.
Our massage therapists are fully trained and qualified, and will have a discussion with the attendee when they arrive for their appointment to ensure that any potential risks are ruled out.
