Course Description

The Foundation Course for Workplace Wellbeing Champions is a full day program where participants will complete the RSPH Level 2 Understanding Health Improvement Course. This course equips you with essential knowledge to become an effective wellbeing champion and culminates in a Level 2 Certification.

Participants will explore workplace wellbeing in detail, learning how to customise their interventions to align with their organisation’s wellbeing goals. Additionally, the course includes practical exercises designed to develop the skills needed to tackle challenges and thrive as Wellbeing Champions.

Attendees Will Be Able To

  • Understand the ethics and principles of health promotion at work
  • Clarify your role as a Workplace Wellbeing Champion and identify local support networks
  • Recognise the importance of effective communication in health messaging
  • Gain insight into behaviour change models
  • Develop physical and mental health interventions for the workplace
  • Know how to apply the knowledge and skills gained during training
  • Tailor interventions to meet local needs and assess your effectiveness as a Workplace Wellbeing Champion

Certification

Those who complete the course will become Accredited Workplace Wellbeing Champions.
