This training will be beneficial for new or existing Wellbeing Champions and your Mental Health First Aiders. It will get everyone speaking the same language in line with your strategy, maximising its effectiveness and reach within the workplace.
Course Description

The Workplace Wellbeing Champions Course will give your employees the skills and knowledge to:

Why have Workplace Wellbeing Champions?
By having a Wellbeing Champion, you can create dedicated advocates for the wellbeing of all your employees. A Champion can be anyone who is passionate and willing to dedicate some of their time to help make their workplace a health-promoting environment.
They take charge of new wellbeing initiatives for the workplace, as well as promoting healthy lifestyle choices and highlighting mental health awareness. These new initiatives help make a big difference for everyone within the workplace, allowing them to feel safe and secure when in the workplace.

Workplace Wellbeing Champion Training Course Information
What is a Workplace Wellbeing Champion?
A workplace wellbeing champion is an employee who volunteers or is nominated to promote health and wellbeing across their organisation. Their role is to create a workplace culture that advocates for positive wellbeing behaviours and supports colleagues to access the right help when needed.
Champions act as a bridge between employees and leadership, providing feedback on what support is needed and what is working well.
How is the Course Delivered?
The Wellbeing Champions Training Course is a full-day course, which can be hosted either online or face-to-face.
What Tind of Qualification is this?
The Workplace Wellbeing Champions Course was developed for our clients in response to a need for formal training around creating a network of wellbeing-promoting individuals in the workplace. As such, this qualification has been developed entirely here at New Leaf Health, based on our extensive knowledge and experience around workplace wellbeing.
The course is also CPD-certified for active learning, meaning you can claim active learning hours towards your professional development requirements.
Is the Course Available Online?
Yes, this course is available online via a meeting platform of your choice (e.g. Zoom, MS Teams, Google Meet etc.)
The online course runs in exactly the same way as the face-to-face course, so delegates won’t lose out on any knowledge or experience by attending online.
What are the Benefits of completing Wellbeing Champions Training?
Completing wellbeing champion training brings practical and strategic value for both individuals and the organisations they support. It grows your confidence and capability of employees to support colleagues and identify early signs of declining mental and physical wellbeing.
This training also provides individuals with the knowledge of where to signpost colleagues for appropriate internal resources or external professional support.
For your organisation, wellbeing champion training will help your champions create a culture where wellbeing is visible and consistent across teams. They act as trusted points of contact, increasing engagement in wellbeing initiatives.
This support from trained champions can improve workplace morale, reduce absenteeism and presenteeism, and develop stronger communication channels between staff and leadership around health and wellbeing priorities.
What other Workplace Wellbeing Training do you offer?
