PR Offshore is a leading recruitment agency within the offshore energy industry. It was founded in 1996 (just like us!), and specialises in recruiting remotely operated vehicle, inspection, and client rep personnel.
The team of 12 is led by Managing Director Paul Reid who is dedicated to driving the company forward in an ever-changing industry – and that includes looking after the wellbeing of his team.

Challenge - Health Promotion for a small business
Many employee benefits platforms and initiatives are geared towards larger organisations. Here at New Leaf, we’re a small team too, but we’re lucky to have access to all of health check equipment on a daily basis. So we understand the struggle of implementing a wellbeing programme in a smaller organisation.
When we first began working with Paul at PR Offshore, we knew exactly how to help everyone in the team, whilst ensuring the approach is scaleable and flexible to grow with the business.
Solution - Employee Health Screening
We identified that the best solution for PR Offshore would be a 20-Minute Health Screening. This is our most comprehensive health check, which allows for up to 20 appointments per day. The checks include:
- Blood pressure
- Cholesterol
- Blood glucose
- Full body composition analysis (like in our Health Check Point)
- Review of results
- One-to-one lifestyle guidance and goal-setting
- GP referral if required
The great benefit to this approach is that because appointments are one-to-one, we don’t need a lot of space to set up, and employees only need to take 20 minutes out of their day to attend, so it’s minimally disruptive.
PR Offshore’s offices have a great space that gives us plenty of room to set up in private, meaning colleagues are able to disconnect from their work and focus purely on their health and wellbeing for 20 minutes.

The benefit of returning annually is that employees can see how their results have changed over the previous 12 months, and take appropriate action. Our practitioner works with the staff to help set goals focused on improving their specific numbers.
Additionally, Paul gets an anonymised report of everyone’s results grouped together, giving an overview of the company’s health and wellbeing, and how it’s progressing year on year. This helps Paul inform any decisions he might make around supporting the wellbeing of his team.
