In March this year, New Leaf Health visited Euston House in London to share their knowledge on workplace health and wellbeing with a group of Wellbeing Coordinators. With over 20 different organisations represented, this was a greatly dynamic day. Hansha Deeno from Department for Transport commented “The facilitators were absolutely brilliant, they made the course very engaging, ensuring everyone was comfortable. Would definitely recommend!”
New Leaf Health’s Phil Olding and Andy Lee O’Neil were the trainers of the course and received much praise for their interactive approach, making the overall experience “really enjoyable.” Each candidate was given a comprehensive guidebook, the slide decks used throughout the event, and access to the New Leaf Health Online Learning Centre.
“Although workplace health has been my sole role for a few years, there was still plenty to learn.” said Carol Wells – Kier Ltd “It was nice to know that I’m on the right track.”
Delegates stated that the course was hugely beneficial and included many activities which allowed them to work together, come up with ideas as a group and share their own personal opinions based on experiences.
Laura Adshead from South Downs College thought it was a “great opportunity to discuss the idea of wellbeing initiatives with like-minded people. It was good to hear what their businesses are doing regarding both problems and successes.”
Delegates were offered a NL Health Check Point Test and Cholesterol Check which went down well. Sara Nelson who works with Euler Hermes said “It was a nice surprise to have and feedback given was very helpful.”
The Coordinators who came to the course found it to be “thought-provoking and eye-opening.” Want to find out what it’s like for yourself? See ‘EVENTS‘ to find out the dates of the next course.
